The lurex mesh has a lovely soft shimmer to it—not too shiny. Plus, the round neckline keeps things properly classic. Cape sleeves that actually sit nicely on the shoulders, and they're half-length. So you get that bit of cover without feeling wrapped up. The A-line shape skims over the hips instead of clinging to them. And because the fabric has a good amount of stretch, you can sit through the ceremony, tuck into the meal, and hit the dance floor without having to tug at it.
There's a bit of embellishment at the waist to give it some shape, and the floor-length skirt drops into a hanky hem. Smart, but it doesn't feel stiff. It'll work for weddings year-round, too.
