The V-neck sits well. Not too deep, just enough to feel right. Cape sleeves give you some coverage around the shoulders without adding weight or bulk. The floral appliqués are placed nicely across the chiffon—they add interest but never feel like too much.
There is a tie at the waist that does the shaping. It pulls in gently, and from there the skirt falls into an A-line that hits the floor. It is cut generously enough that you can move freely, but not so full that you feel swamped by fabric. The length is practical too—it does not drag or catch underfoot.
